Moving to the area I was in search of a vet for my cat, and was very impressed with them! My cat is a very social cat, and wasn't surprised when he jumped up and climbed on the shelves in the room. The vet techs and vet were very kind and you can tell they wanted to work with you to find an answer to any issues you were having with your animal. I will for sure come back with any animal that I have!
With two cats, we love the separate waiting area and exam rooms for kitties (with cat wall shelves!!) When we saw Dr. Sherrod, she was very caring. Our cats also get their nails trimmed here (billed as pedicures) and it’s very reasonable. Love this office!

I want to thank Mukwonago Animal Hospital for their true compassion as we navigated the loss of our beloved cat. When I called to make the appointment I was a mess and they assured me it was okay and I could take my time on the call...they were busy, but they didn't rush me. When we showed up for our appointment we were immediately directed down the hall to a room where we'd say our final goodbye. They gave us a doorbell and told us when we were ready to start, we could beep them and the vet would be in. The vet that worked with us was sincere, and even gave a quick look at our kitty to let us know that we were making the right choice. He explained the process to us and gave us time before they started. Everything was at our pace, even with a parking lot full of other patients. After the process was over we were allowed to sit with our kitty as long as we needed, which was much appreciated . But what really got my heartstrings was the true compassion showed for my sweet Penney when we were ready to leave. A woman came in and gently wrapped her up while rubbing her and saying her name. She was gone, but they still talked to her as if she was the most special cat in the world, and she was. I can't thank them enough for the love they showed our sweet girl in her final moments.

Dr. Bittner is one of the best vets I've had the pleasure to work with. She's extremely knowledgeable and is honest about what your pets actually need.

The doctor didn't even examine my cat before he said she had cancer! I had told him it was a wound from another cat. He was not nice at all. Finally he took her in back and saw it was a wound. All this to walk in the door for $85.

The staff is professional and courteous while maintaining a friendly atmosphere. I believe our pup felt it too. Her first trip was for elective surgeries (skin tags in her eyes and elsewhere) and I was sure that when we went back to have the some stitches removed she (our pup) would resist going inside. She didn't hesitate to go back inside.
They have never seen our dog before but took us in right away to rewrap his toe that he broke. So thankful we did cause our other vet put a hard cast on and Dr. B put him in a soft cast. He showed how to wrap it step by step. So so happy with how we were handled.
